Visa on Arrival

Traveling to Thailand requires a visa, obtained from a Royal Thai Embassy or Consulate-General in the traveler's country of residence, for a convenient, quick and smooth journey.

Visa on Arrival

  • VOA for 3 countries
  • Visa issued at a Thailand Immigration checkpoint
  • Validity: 15 days
  • Extendable: Not extendable
  • VoA fee: 2,000 THB (payable on arrival)
  • At designated Immigration Checkpoints

Required Documents

  • 1. Valid Passport: Original passport with at least 30 days to 6 months of remaining validity and available pages for stamps
  • 2. TDAC QR code
  • 3. Application Form: A completed VOA application form (available at the airport immigration counter).
  • 4. Photograph: One recent passport-sized photo (4 x 6 cm) taken within a months. Background: Solid White only. No patterns or prints. No glasses for religious or medical purposes only
  • 5. Proof of accommodation in Thailand (e.g., accommodation bookings, invitation letters from family/friends in Thailand)

Traveling to Thailand

Before You Arrive: Digital Registration Thailand Digital Arrival Card (TDAC) • All foreign nationals entering Thailand by air, land, or sea must complete the Thailand Digital Arrival Card (TDAC) before arrival. This replaced the paper TM6 form in May 2025 and applies to every entry, including repeat visits.

  1. 1Go to the official portal: tdac.immigration.go.th
  2. 2Submit between 24 and 72 hours before your arrival. Submitting earlier than 72 hours will be rejected.
  3. 3Completing the TDAC is free. If you encounter a website charging a fee, you are not on the official portal.
